Correct selection and use of filter elements
Filter aperture, filter area and pressure resistance of filter core are important standards to measure the quality of filter core. Generally speaking, the manufacturer of construction machinery has stipulated the maintenance cycle of the engine and hydraulic system (e.g., 250h and 2000h respectively). People often understand the above regulations as that the filter core is replaced only when oil is replaced. In fact, under special circumstances, it is necessary to replace the filter element when oil does not need to be replaced.
Proper selection and use of the filter core is an important means to extend the service life of machinery. The equipment, which is often operated under heavy dust, high temperature and continuously working for a long time, must be cleaned once every day and replaced after six times (or as the case may be). When choosing air filter, attention should be paid to the filtration accuracy. The filtration accuracy of the air filter of rough filter paper is 30 ~ 50 mm and that of fine filter paper is about 20 mm. The air pressure of 0.1mpa is used to test, and the air flow on the opposite side is considered qualified. When installing air filtration, make sure that the air filtration is sealed with the contact surface of the inlet pipe and each joint.
When replacing the wood filter and machine filter, we should also pay attention to their filtration accuracy. The crude filter paper wood filter is 10 minus m, the fine filter paper wood filter is 6 minus m, the machine filter is 10 minus m, and the pressure tolerance should be 1.5-4mpa, and the pass rate is 60% and 50%, respectively. When the pressure is 0.2mpa, air is blown in from the oil inlet. If it is felt that there is even air flow at the oil inlet, it is qualified. If the air flow is felt to be large or has obvious air resistance, the filter core quality should be checked to see if there is any problem.
Determination of filter core replacement time: on the basis of checking oil color, viscosity and smell, oil pressure and air humidity should also be tested. Working at higher altitudes and at lower temperatures, it is also important to pay close attention to the amount of carbon, colloids (olefin) and sulfides in engine oil, as well as the amount of impurities, paraffin and water in diesel. In special cases, if the machinery USES low-grade diesel (0.5s ~ 1.0sps in diesel sulfur), the wood filter and filter should be replaced every 150h. Sulphur content should be replaced every 60h above 1.0. The replacement time of hydraulic return oil filter core, pilot filter core and respirator filter core shall be changed every 100h with the equipment with heavy load on hydraulic system such as crushing device and vibration rammer.
