Dissolution sinker

Floating tablets rarely dissolve at a reproducible weight. Using a basket sinker fixes the tablet to a certain point and aids reproducibility. Basket sinkers can also be useful where tablets may stick to the sides of the vessel. Our sinkers can also be used in disintegration testing to prevent floating dosage forms.

The basket sinkers is tough and resilient,  its feature a hinged end with a clip to allow capsule inertion and maintain security during the test.
This sinker is designed to work with capsules in such a way that the sinker will not interfere with the dissolution rate. To meet that it is important that the spaces between the bars are carefully regulated to ensure a consistent and reproducible flow dynamic.
